Students from Waukesha S.T.E.M. Academy Stop by for a Fieldtrip
We loved hosting students from the Waukesha S.T.E.M. Academy for a series of field trips last month to share how the virtual design and coding skills they are developing at school can be used in the construction industry.
The Waukesha S.T.E.M. Academy is a charter school that focuses on blended learning with real-world and project-based approaches. Their field trip to Spancrete bridged the gap between homework and practical, real-world application for students. Activities included a virtual reality experience, building a park through a Revit model, a mini-coding session and learning how a home is built from design to completion.
Thanks to WTMJ for stopping by to share more about the great work these students are doing!
