Spancrete Names New Vice President of Precast Operations
Hennessee joins Spancrete after spending ten years as a Plant Manager and Division Manager at Standard Concrete Products. In his time in the Southern market, Hennessee also served as the Vice President of the Gulf South Precast/Prestressed Concrete Association (GSPCA) and as a board member of the Florida Precast Concrete Association (FPCA).
Hennessee takes over for current Vice President of Precast Operations Scott Galke, who will retire in February. Galke served in the role since joining Spancrete in 2012. Hennessee has been working under Galke since last summer to ensure a smooth transition.
Highlighted by his PCI Level III certification, Hennessee has extensive experience in production and operations management. His responsibilities at Spancrete include overseeing all precast operations for the Wisconsin location.
He explains, “I’m excited to bring my knowledge of the industry and my operations experience to the Spancrete team, in order to help Spancrete’s continued growth.”
Spancrete President and COO Al Antoniewicz adds, “Having served in the United States Marine Corps, David’s leadership is very valuable, as is his thorough knowledge of the precast industry. We’re thrilled to add him to our team, and we wish Scott Galke the very best in his retirement.”
On top of his bachelor’s degree in Concrete Industry Management from Middle Tennessee State University, Hennessee is also pursuing his MBA.
