Spancrete® has provided solutions for over 100 sustainable projects in the last few years. We have also played an integral role in assisting our clients on a variety of LEED® certified projects; including certification for Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum projects for various building types.
Precast/prestressed concrete can contribute to sustainable design in many ways. It is a versatile, durable material, produced in a factory by highly trained personnel with virtually no waste, under stringent quality control measures. Precast products can be quickly erected on the jobsite with minimal disruption to the site and precast's thermal mass can save energy and increase comfort.

To demonstrate our commitment to sustainable living and to serve as an example to the communities in which we live, Spancrete® embarked on a corporate-wide sustainable initiative that is integrated into our day-to-day management practices and operations; focusing on expanding our green knowledge and capabilities, incorporating practical sustainable strategies into our daily precast and machinery operations and continuing the education of the local building community on the benefits of building green with precast.
