"From the start, the quality of engineering has been outstanding. And even though we started in January, we haven’t had many weather issues. It’s great seeing materials arriving every day, keeping production on track, getting us closer to meeting our goal"
- Joe Schuchardt, Senior Project Manager, KBS Construction, Inc.

U.S. Bank Center Parking Structure

In the spring of 2010, the U.S. Bank Center was in the midst of constructing a new parking structure to accommodate the needs of the local community. The new parking garage accommodates the same number of cars, but in just half the footprint of the parking ramp it replaces. The eight-story, 970-spot parking garage came with an aggressive, six-month production schedule that set completion in time for Milwaukee's' busy festival season. With construction starting in January, the use of precast concrete products allowed for working through winter in order to meet the mid-June deadline. The structure features two levels below ground and six elevated levels, reducing the overall footprint and allowing for future development.
