Engineering Expert Joins Spancrete Team
Waukesha, Wis. - One of the Midwest's leading precast structural engineers, John Wang, Ph.D., S.E., will play a strategic role in the engineering capabilities and continued success of The Spancrete Group, Inc. The company recently announced the addition of Dr. Wang to the position of vice president engineering services.
With more than 20 years of precast engineering experience, Wang is responsible for the design of more than 250 precast parking structures, as well as precast stadiums, high-rise hotels and industrial facilities. In his new role, Wang will oversee and lend his expertise to Spancrete's engineering standards and strategies, directly impacting the design and engineering specifications of every precast project.
"John is one of the nation's leading parking deck experts and has been involved with some of the most highly visible precast projects," explains John Nagy, president and CEO of The Spancrete Group, Inc. Wang has been involved with several high-profile projects throughout Chicago and Milwaukee, including Midwest Airlines Convention Center, McCormack Place Convention Center, Children's Hospital parking structure, and the parking structure at Soldier Field. He earned a doctorate in structural engineering from Marquette University.
