Waukesha, Wis. (June 29, 2006) The Spancrete Group, Inc. recently announced
the completion of two building expansions at production facilities in Valders, Wis., and
Crystal Lake, Ill. As a result of the newly expanded buildings, Spancrete will increase
manufacturing capacities of structural and architectural product lines.
"Our commitment to customer service necessitated these recent expansions," said Bob
McCormack, Executive Vice President of The Spancrete Group, Inc. "Increasing our production
capacities results in shorter lead times which translates to better service and customer
satisfaction."
The expansion at the Valders facility focused on expanding the Architectural and Structural
wetcast product lines. In Crystal Lake, the focus was on SpancreteŽ Hollowcore plank. Both
facilities are certified by the Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute for quality and
both feature state-of-the-art concrete batch plants.
Individuals and groups interested in touring the new facilities are invited to take a
plant tour this September and October. Spancrete is offering guided tours of the newly
expanded production facilities and its production facility in Waukesha, Wis. Please
