Spancrete Donates to Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Riverwalk

Waukesha, Wis. (March 7, 2005) – Spancrete recently donated the use of a crane and operator to assist in the building of the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Riverwalk. The crane was used to place 40 600-pound boardwalks in the marshlands along the Bark River.

“Being a family-run business, Spancrete’s roots are firmly entrenched in community service – giving back to the area where we live and work,” said John Nagy, president of Spancrete. “So it’s a great honor to use our resources to help a local community organization.”

Located in Delafield, Wis., the Memorial Riverwalk stretches for 1/2 mile and includes nine distinct war memorial sites, a bridge, two ecological information areas and the Peace Garden.
