One of the largest credit unions in southeastern Wisconsin is also home to one of the newest buildings on Milwaukee's East Side. Located on Prospect Avenue, Educator's Credit Union opened its newest building in October 2009. The location offered a variety of site constraints and the inability to stockpile construction materials, making the use of precast products the best - suited and most obvious structural and architectural design material. The total precast building featured precast beams, 13,000 sq. feet of Spancrete hollowcore plank, and architectural wall panels and columns. Both the wall panels and columns feature a thin brick architectural finish.
