Spancrete featured in Concrete Construction

BubbleDeck, a revolutionary construction method, combines plastic molded bubbles and hollowcore precast. This system was first used in the U.S. in 2011 in a collaborative project between Findorff, Spancrete, GRAEF and Bubbledeck. BubbleDeck is time saving, cost reducing and also weighs less than other building techniques, allowing engineers to reduce columns and walls.

UW-Madisons 12,000-square-foot La Bahn Hockey Arena is the first to use BubbleDeck. Spancrete provides the concrete to fill the voids between bubbles and helps in BubbleDeck construction.
